Volunteering at Doncaster Mansion House
Our mansion house is one of the jewels in Doncaster’s crown.
Together we can ensure that it continues to serve future generations as it has done in the past.

The Friends of Doncaster Mansion House want to develop the Mansion House as an educational resource for all sections of the community and, especially, for local schools.
The Friends want to increase the number of public Open Days from the present 3 days per month to 4 days per month and then eventually to 8 days per month.
What do the Mansion House Volunteers do?
On Open Days, we meet and greet visitors, act as room stewards and lead guided tours.
We also research into the history of the Mansion House and its contents and create information leaflets, talks and exhibitions.
We promote the Mansion House on the Friends’ website and Facebook page and we raise funds for the above activities and for future projects.
